Hyundai to make CV Show debut

Date: Monday, March 14, 2011

Hyundai has announced it is to attend the Commercial Vehicle Show for the first time in April.

The Korean brand will display Euro 5 versions of its iLoad in panel and crew van formats. It claims the Euro 5 engine delivers an 8.4% improvement in fuel economy and reduces emissions by 10.4%.

Hyundai will also showcase the first police conversion of the iLoad, courtesy of Cambridgeshire Constabulary, in recognition of the brand becoming a preferred supplier to police forces in the UK.

Mark Baxter, Hyundai’s UK product manager, said: “Hyundai is committed to increasing the awareness of the iLoad and sees the CV Show as an ideal opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities to the wider light commercial vehicle user audience.”

Prices for the 2.5-litre CRDi panel van start at £13,840 excluding VAT and Hyundai is offering its Trade and Upgrade deal on the vehicle, which allows owners of seven to 10 year old vans to save £2300 when trading them in for a new iLoad.
