LEVC has supplied 60 VN5 vans to EV charging firm Pod Point.

The range-extender vans, which run on an electric motor backed up by a petrol generator, will be used by Pod Points engineers on trips to install new chargers and maintain existing ones.

The vans feature bespoke racking and storage solutions installed by Sortimo, an authorised conversion partner of LEVC.

Pod Point chief of operations Graham Evans said: “Vehicle electrification is one of the most powerful ways to stop travel damaging the earth and our mission is to put an EV chargepoint everywhere you park.

“We are delighted to be working with LEVC and the VN5 is a natural fit for our business and our growing team of expert installers.”

LEVC CEO Joerg Hofmann said: “I am pleased to announce Pod Point as one of our latest major UK fleet customers. Pod Point is a major operator in supporting the move towards electrification and LEVC is pleased to be working with such a recognised brand, with our VN5 assisting technicians as they continue to build the UK's charging infrastructure.”
