Logistics UK announces Delivering Decarbonisation conference

A new one-day conference, entitled Delivering Decarbonisation, has been announced by Logistics UK.
According to the organisation, the event, aimed at senior business leaders, will explore the roadmap to net-zero and discuss plans, initiatives and projects currently in place to help businesses in progressing their decarbonisation journey and assist with futureproofing their net-zero strategies.
The event, to be held on 22 November at the Congress Centre in London, will include panel discussions and keynote speeches from industry experts.
Logistics UK public policy manager Denise Beedell said: “The importance of decarbonising operations is increasing as we head towards phase out dates and the net-zero by 2050 deadline.
“Industry has demonstrated a great willingness to decarbonise and has already taken great steps towards this. However, Logistics UK recognises this can be a complicated and overwhelming process.
“We are delighted to be launching this event, which will bring together some of the most knowledgeable and influential logistics professionals to focus on the conversations worth having.”
