New Solera Fleet Solutions package launched

A new set of fleet management products has been launched by Solera.
The products, under the Solera Fleet Solutions banner, include Solera Protect, Solera Mentor, and Solera Roadnet Anywhere.
Solera Protect, formerly SmartDrive Protect, is a video product aimed at small to mid-sized fleets, that includes driver coaching as well as video capture of incidents.
The app-based Solera Mentor is designed to identify risky driver behaviour and remedy it with in-app coaching, rewards and gamification.
Solera Roadnet Anywhere is designed to help fleets optimise their last-mile operations, considering factors such as cost, customer service, and seasonality.
Solera says its products are well-placed to meet fleets’ needs, based on research showing 65% of European fleet decision-makers have seen customer expectations increase regarding the speed of deliveries, and 79% feel under pressure to make deliveries faster and more efficiently.
Solera VP of Fleet Solutions Mark Tiana said: “Fleets are telling us they are currently facing the greatest challenges in a decade – driver shortages, rising operational costs, and data overload – creating a perfect storm. Yet, the technology solutions they have in place aren’t helping them solve these problems, they are just adding to the noise.
