Northgate launches electric van and charger rental package

Northgate has introduced a new package allowing customers to rent an electric van and a charger for a single monthly payment.
The deal, available with contracts running for at least 12 months, includes a 7kW charger supplied and installed by ChargedEV, with servicing and maintenance included.
The package includes access for businesses to an online platform where they can view drivers’ charging use, and a ‘company wallet’ function which can be used to set charging reimbursement plans. The platform can set up multiple payment methods for drivers using both personal and business payment cards.
Also included in the package are any livery and racking requirements for the vehicle, and full servicing, maintenance, and breakdown cover.
Northgate director of product and marketing James Eustace said: “Supporting our customers with their switch to EVs has always been important to Northgate. They said they wanted to take the complexity out of switching to electric light commercials which we have done.
“This is the first time an integrated package of this type has been made available for a single monthly price which we are very excited about.”
