Van Sales UK appoints business development director

Van Sales UK has appointed Liam Nicholas as its first business development director.
Leading a team of five business development executives, he will be tasked with targeting operators who have not previously been customers of Van Sales UK, owned by Vanaways. This marks a change from the company’s previous sales strategy, concentrating on inbound enquiries.
Nicholas, who has worked in the van industry for more than a decade, said: “We’re targeting companies with fleets of 10 vehicles or more. We believe the quick turnaround and hassle-free service that we can offer is ideally suited to these busy operations, and we want to tell people exactly how we can help keep their businesses running smoothly.
“There’s a real buzz about the business right now and everyone has an incredibly positive attitude.
“We’re all fully focused on providing the best possible customer service because – especially in the fleet market, where operators are replacing vehicles on a regular basis – that’s how we’ll prove we’re worthy of winning and retaining their business.”
