Holman has confirmed details of several new senior appointments.

The move comes following a recently-awarded contract for Holman to provide fleet services – including SMR, portfolio management, and pool vehicle/rental management – to BT Group, which has around 37,000 commercial vehicles.

Among the new hires is new operations director Paul Probert, who is said to bring extensive experience in the distribution and logistics sectors, most recently working for Ryder.

Other new appointments are Dominic Hutchinson as head of operations based at Holman’s Chippenham headquarters, Iain Palmer as head of operations based at the company’s new Birmingham office, and Gemma Towers as operations manager.

Holman UK managing director Nick Caller said: “During this transformative period for our business, these appointments serve as a clear demonstration of our unwavering dedication to our customers.

“I have full confidence that as we attract even more new customers, their contributions will have a significant impact, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of excellent customer service to all of our clients, regardless of the number of vehicles they operate.”

Probert (pictured) said: “Holman is a company with a great reputation for doing the right thing. I am excited about leading the operations team and to create a step change in the capability of operational execution.”
