Locks 4 Vans launches security products for Volkswagen ID. Buzz

The range, available to pre-order now, includes a hook locking solution for the tailgate doors, a protective window shield for the glazed rear window on the tailgate model, and a custom made anti-peel kit, designed to combat the growing ‘peel and steal’ attack method on side loading doors.

According to Locks 4 Vans, due to the composite materials used for electric vans, it needed to adjust how it fitted its products to the ID. Buzz so as not to compromise functionality. It also says it worked to ensure the products’ designs were sympathetic to the van’s visual style.

Locks 4 Vans commercial director Terry Rayner said: “The team here at L4V are continually pushing boundaries to ensure that the application of our security solutions move with the next generation of vehicle.
