Stellantis is to renew its entire line-up of vans in 2024 with the launch of new models across its platforms in the compact, medium and large van market sectors.

The move will see Citroen introduce a new Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay, Fiat Professional introduce a new Doblo, Scudo and Ducato, Peugeot introduce a new Partner, Expert and Boxer and Vauxhall introduce a new Combo, Vivaro and Movano.

Updated battery-electric technology will be available across all nameplates, according to Stellantis, delivering increased range of up to 261 miles for the large vans on the WLTP cycle, 87 miles more than the current maximum. Medium vans will have a claimed range of 224 miles and compact vans 205 miles.

Features across the brands’ line-ups will include 10in infotainment touchscreens, 18 upgraded advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), connectivity as standard on all models, with over-the-air updates available from 2026, and e-PTO (electric power take off) capability.

Stellantis has also announced it will introduce a large hydrogen van in 2024 and a second-generation medium fuel cell van to complement the mid-sized hydrogen model it already markets in the shape of the Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro-e Hydrogen.

The new vans will have respective claimed ranges of 249 and 311 miles.

The renewal of its product range is part of the group’s new Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicle strategy.

Under the strategy Stellantis says it is targeting the largest global product offering in the industry, including vans, pick-ups, and micro-mobility products, and wants to offer zero-emission retro-fitted vehicles alongside battery and hydrogen EVs with sufficient range to not suffer in comparison to the capabilities of ICE vehicles.

Other elements of the strategy include a complete charging ecosystem via Free2move Charge and a new digital converter/upfitter ecosystem to reduce lead times.

Jean-Philippe Imparato, head of the Stellantis commercial vehicles business unit, said: “As customer expectations grow more complex and diverse, we are here to address each specific need with a dedicated solution.

“Our mission is to stand side by side with our customers around the world and deliver the products and services that help them thrive.”
