Europcar adds Mercedes-Benz eVito vans to rental fleet

Europcar has announced the addition of Mercedes-Benz eVito electric vans to its main rental fleet, following a successful trial programme.
The vans are being made available from locations aligned to the London ULEZ and other clean air zones in UK cities.
The eVito has a range of around 160 miles, a maximum payload of 807kg, and a loading space of up to 6.0m3.
Europcar UK vans and truck director Keith Shorter said: “Our goal is to dispel the myths around EVs; renting the eVito is the perfect solution to see how electric motoring could fit within [customers'] business model and practices.
“The eVito is already a popular and practical choice for businesses that want to reduce their environmental impact. And making it available from our locations is an exciting step forwards in our mission towards a greener fleet for our customers.”
